You want to speak English?

You want to learn how to work with animals on a farm?

You want to experience nature?

You want to be a part of an Irish family?

We’re living in the countryside of Ireland keeping up a mixed farm of cattle, sheep, horses, ducks and chickens. Be part of our family – eat and take care of the farm with us. That’s the best way to learning English and discover farming in it’s traditional way.

Accommodation

Let our home be your home on your stay: We have nice accommodions for guests upstairs with they own bathroom and good access to internet and TV.
In the morning we have a real irish breakfast together and lots of cups of tea all day long and a family dinner in the evening.
The traditional open turf fires keep us warm when we let the day slip away.

Even though we live in the countryside we are not far from civilization, everything is accessible with one of our bicycles. The train station that will bring you to Galway city in no time is only 20 minutes away by bike.

About us

We are a family of five, making a living from our traditional family farm.

Evelin is a fulltime housewife and looks after the three children.
Pat is a full-time farmer. He inherited the farm from his parents, it has been past from generation to generation.
Our three girls keeping the house alive, growing up helping on the farm.

The farm is 10 km away from Balliansloe, a small market town and 4 km from
Killconnell our local village which has 2 shops, a postoffice and 3 traditional pubs. Galway City is only 30 minutes away by train from our local station, called Woodlawn.
