Galway City
City on the western atlantic coast which was Columbus last stop before he discovered “the new world”.

Callow Lake
Lake 15 minutes away by bike. Fly fishing from the first of May to the first of November for rainbow trout. (license 35 euros, fishing rod supplied)

Kilconnell Abbey
Abbey built in 1414 in the nearest village Killconnell, good gothic architecture

Fought in 1691, In the little village of Aughrim with own museum and interpreted center.
